From here, you'll embark on a thrilling drive through the world's highest motorable road to the Nubra Valley, where you'll be greeted by the mesmerizing sand dunes and the rare double-humped camels.
Next, you'll visit Pangong Lake, one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world, and marvel at its ever-changing hues of blue. You'll also visit Hanle, a hidden gem known for its observatory and stunning night sky. - You're headed to the high-altitude cold desert regions of India, where medical facilities are scarce. We strongly recommend consulting your doctor for health advice before your trip. Wandering Souls cannot be held responsible for medical emergencies due to the limited healthcare services in these remote areas. Should you require logistical support for medical reasons, we will assist, but please note that the costs will be your responsibility. Ensure you're in good physical health before embarking on this journey, and inform us of any pre-existing health conditions so we can provide appropriate guidance.

Tour Plan
Day 1 - Arrive at Leh | Overnight at Leh
- Upon arriving at the airport, we will head to our hotel near Leh Market, where it is essential to spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude.
- Take plenty of rest, stay well-hydrated, and allow your body to adjust to the altitude. You can also take a leisurely stroll around the hotel campus and enjoy the beautiful views.
- In the evening you can go to the market and visit some cafes, after that briefing for the trip ahead with some fun and games.
Day 2 - Leh Local | Overnight at Leh
- Wake up and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, as today we will explore leh
- we will start our journey at the Sangam Site, where the Zanskar and Indus rivers meet. We will also visit Magnetic Hill, an anti-gravity hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and The Hall of Fame, a war memorial maintained by the Indian Army.
- Our last stop will be the iconic Shanti Stupa, known for its beautiful white dome, statues, and intricate carvings.
- Afterwards, take a stroll through Leh Market to explore local shops and cafes.
- Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight rest
Day 3 - Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Top | Overnight at Hunder
- Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley.
- The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh.
- From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range and north to the giants of the Saser massif.
- We can also do River Rafting at Shyok River. Visit Dikshit Monastery on the way. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
- Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our accomoation in Hunder for Overnight stay.
- Later visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride.
Day 4 - Day 5 - Excursion to Turtuk, Thang Border | Overnight at Hunder
- Wake up to wonderful Sunrise, today we head towards Turtuk, located on the banks of shyok river is the the penultimate village open to foreign tourist before POK.
- The landscape, culture, language, clothing, and even the physical features of people change quite drastically crossing over into Turtuk, technically entering Baltistan.
- We return to Hunder in the evening to Spend the night here.
Day 5 - Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso via Shyok Valley | Overnight at Pangong Tso
- Start your day with breakfast, then proceed to check out and begin your ourney to the illustrious Pangong Tso, elevated at 4350 meters, traveling through Agam and Shyok villages.
- Noted for its remarkable ability to change color 4 to 5 times daily, Pangong Tso stands as one of Asia's most incredible lakes.
- Termed the "Lake of the great hollow," it holds the title of the highest saltwater lake globally.
- On average, Pangong Lake measures about 4 kilometers in width and extends over a length of at least 136 kilometers, with its explored area exceeding 250 square miles (400 sq. km).
- Upon arrival at Pangong Lake, proceed with the campsite check-in. End your day with dinner and an overnight stay at the site.
Day 6 - Pangong to Hanle via Rezang La War Memorial | Overnight at Hanle
- Enjoy breakfast and check out for an exciting trip to Hanle village.
- Visit the Rezang La War Memorial to honor the heroes of the Indo-China War.
- Stop for lunch at Loma/Tsaga village en route, depending on the time.
- Arrive at Hanle by evening and check into your homestay.
- Have dinner and enjoy a restful night in the tranquility of Hanle, preparing for more adventures ahead.
Day 7 - Hanle to Umling La and Back | Overnight at Hanle
- Start the day with a hearty breakfast and say goodbye to Hanle village, aiming for Umling La, the highest motorable road in the world.
- Prepare for a rugged and adventurous journey to Umling La, with the stunning Ladakh range enhancing the experience with its breathtaking views.
- Umling La stands at an elevation of 5,640 meters, nestled on the ridgeline between Koyul Lungpa and the Indus River near Demchok.
- After marveling at Umling La's beauty and enjoying lunch, begin the return trip to Hanle.
- Arrive at your homestay in Hanle by evening, ready for dinner and a peaceful night's rest.
Day 8 - Hanle to Leh | Overnight at Leh
- Post-breakfast, set off on an exciting journey to Leh.
- On our way back, we'll pass through Chumathang Village, known for its naturally occurring hot springs rich in minerals.
- We'll also visit Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery, which provide a deep insight into Ladakhi heritage and traditions.
- We will arrive in Leh by late afternoon. After some rest, we'll head out to explore the local cafes and shop for souvenirs in the market. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Leh
Day 9 - Leh to Home
- Transfer to Leh Airport to catch the morning flight back to your home
- Bid farewell, marking the end of an EPIC adventure
- Look forward to a future filled with travel stories with Wandering Souls

Disclaimer
- Any additional expenses arising out of unforeseen circumstances like cancellation/ roadblocks/landslides/strike or any other natural causes out of human control or any emergency evacuation expenses will be borne by the travellers
- In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.), refund shall be payable with respect to the given refund norms.

Cancellation Policy
- If cancellation done by participant prior to 45 days of the Event, 10% of the advance amount will be deducted
- If cancellation done by participant prior to 30 days of the Event, 50% of the advance amount will be deducted
- If cancellation done by participant between 15 to 30 days of the Event, 100% of advance amount will be deducted
- If cancellation done by participant between 7 to 15 days of the Event, 50% of whole trip amount will be deducted
- If cancellation done by participant within 7 days of the Event, 100% of whole trip amount will be deducted

Can I come alone?
Yes, many of our participants are solo travellers.
Is it safe for a female solo traveller?
It is completely safe for a female solo traveller as our representatives will be there with you all the time. Moreover, most of our events have 60% female participation.
What if I have a medical emergency?
We will carry first aid kit with us and we will carry an Oxygen Cylinder with us. If the problem increases, we will quickly get you to closest medical attention possible.
How will you contact me once I register?
We will be mailing you the details once you register. We will also create a WhatsApp group a 2 weeks before the trip
What is the stay like in LadakhTrip?
Accommodation on Double/Triple sharing basis in Hotels/ Traditional & Hygienic Homestays/ Swiss Tents at all destinations as per the itinerary.
Would I get cellular connectivity in Ladakh?
You require a postpaid simcard or a local simcard for connectivity in Ladakh. Airtel and jio provide better connectivity than Vodafone. You will get intermittent cellular connectivity in Ladakh. You won’t get cellular connectivity at Pangong Tso
What type of food will I get in Ladakh?
We will be having our Breakfast & dinner at our stays. Lunches we will have locally during our road trip and sightseeing trips. Avg cost per meal would be around ₹200-₹250
