Overview

Sandhan valley, “The Great Canyon” in the Sahyadri ranges which is combination of a canyon and a valley. Located in the Ahmednagar district, India, near the famous fort Ratangad. Sandhan valley is undoubtedly The Valley of Shadows.

It is a unique experience combining adventure activities such as Rappelling and staying admidst nature

Tour Plan

Day 1

  • 11:42 AM: Catch the Kasara Local Leaving CSMT at 11:42 am from your respective stations.
  • 2:00 PM: Gather at Kasara Railway Station for the start of our camping adventure. We leave for the campsite in our private vehicle.
  • 5:30 PM: Arrive at the campsite where we will be staying for the night.
  • 6:00 PM: A relaxing evening begins with snacks and time to unwind after the journey.
  • 7:00 PM: Play some games and get to know your fellow travellers
  • 10:00 PM: Dinner is served, giving you a chance to refuel and socialize.
  • 11:00 PM: Sleep time

Day 2

  • 6:00 AM: A wake-up call sounds, signaling the start of the second day.
  • 6:30 AM: Breakfast is served, fueling you for the day ahead.
  • 7:00 AM: We depart for a half descend trek in Sandhan Valley.
  • 11:00 AM: Back to the base village
  • 12:00 PM: Lunch is served.
  • 5:00 PM: We arrive at Kasara Railway Station, concluding their stargazing camping adventure.

Things to Carry

  • Bottle of Water
  • Torch with extra batteries
  • Ready to eat food like plum cakes, dry fruits etc.
  • Sleeping Bag/Bedding
  • Warm clothes, blanket, Head cap to protect from cold weather.
  • Cap, Camera
  • Good Trekking shoes
  • Jacket / Wind cheater as it would be cold
  • Personal care stuff, ORS, medicines which you require usually
  • Haversack to put all the things in, please do not carry sling bags or jholas

Disclaimer

  • It is trekking/camping activity and not a leisure trip so one needs to prepare themselves accordingly.
  • Above schedule can change depending on sky conditions and travel duration
  • Alcohol, smoking and chewing tobacco is strictly not allowed during the camp.
  • Participants are responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.
  • Please avoid wearing Gold and other jewellery.
  • A planned activity or programs may be cancelled or revised depending on the weather or any other unavoidable circumstances.
  • We require atleast 6 participants to conduct the event. In an unlikely case where we don’t get the requisite number of participants, you have an option for FULL Refund or shifting to any other event.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation charge of 15% would be deducted from the booking if cancelled 2 days before the event
  • No refund would be granted if cancelled within 2 days of the event
